1) Click the App center on the Ubuntu desktop, it is the orange suitcase with an A on it
2) Search or browse for applications with the side bar in the application center or potentially using the categories tab
3) Select an application to confirm details about and information including the app description, users rating, screenshots and installation size
4) Click install to install the application, once you enter your password to confirm, the software will install
